Dog Birthday Party Cupcakes!
This post is dedicated to my rescue dog, Bunny Roo, who passed away on October 3, 2008. Bunny was a wonderful dog! She was 80% blind (she only had one eye and it didn’t work very well!). Even though she couldn’t see, she sure could smell! When I made pup-cakes for Bunny’s dog birthday party….she went crazy! Take time to celebrate your furry companion….and in the meantime, whip up some pup-cakes for the pooch in your life! They have dog friendly icing and trust me, your dogs will LOVE them!
Pup-Cake Ingredients:
1/2 Cup All purpose flour
1 Cup Whole wheat flour
1/2 Cup Cornmeal
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Molasses
1/4 Cup Honey
1 Egg
1 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Diced, cooked chicken
Pup-Cake Frosting:
8 oz Lowfat cream cheese
2 tbs Honey
1/3 c Vegetable oil
ingredients and mix well. Next, add the
honey, molasses, egg and water and mix
for two minutes. Finally, slowly mix in
diced chicken. Pour mixture into cupcake
papers and cook at 350 for 20-25 minutes.Frosting: Combine softened cream
cheese, honey and oil. Beat until mixture
forms a frosting-like consistency.
That’s it, easy to make and oooohhhhh so good! The canine guests at your dog’s birthday party will beg for more! Enjoy!
